IIDP investigators using human islets or other resources from the IIDP and who publish their research are required to cite the IIDP and are encouraged to submit these publications to the IIDP Coordinating Center ([email protected]).

The following type of acknowledgement, which includes the IIDP NIH grant number, should be documented in all publications where IIDP human islets or other resources were used: “Human pancreatic islets and/or other resources were provided by the NIDDK-funded Integrated Islet Distribution Program (IIDP) (RRID:SCR_014387) at City of Hope, NIH Grant # U24DK098085.”

If you obtained islets or other resources through the IIDP Islet Award Initiative (IAI), please state the following: “Human pancreatic islets and/or other resources were provided by the NIDDK-funded Integrated Islet Distribution Program (IIDP) (RRID:SCR_014387) at City of Hope, NIH Grant # U24DK098085 and the JDRF-funded IIDP Islet Award Initiative. ”
